These photographs are my first attempt to represent me, who I am, in a way that felt right and true. For me its about shifting identities and struggles with self belief, internalised sexism, abuse, racism - others perceptions of me and my own clouded/distorted self image. Yearning to breathe.... yearning for freedom....
I wanted to use my super 8 camera for filming on this beach in Wales, unfortuantely I couldnt get the camera to work, I like this still shot though.
